ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT/NON DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT

General Statement

In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as well as with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Iowa’s Area Education Agencies have made, and continue to make, efforts to ensure content on the website is accessible to everyone – including individuals with disabilities and users of assistive technology.

Standards

We use the accessibility standards of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA, with the exception of video content which follows WCAG 2.0 level A, as the minimum technical standards to develop and maintain its websites. This website exceeds these guidelines in many instances.
